I've been slowly clearning my room and I find that I have a lot of
techie, gizmo stuff. From older PC models and parts, multiple monitors
to just random tech accessories I end up getting from Aliexpress. And
that doesn't even count tech for my other hobbies like music, tennis and
general things.
Needless to say, a collection of tech stuff is probably takes 70% of what
I have in my inventory (don't know why I couldn't find another way to explain
my stuff besides in gamer terms lol). The rest are books, sports stuff, music
stuff and misc gear.
I was in the process of minimalizing my tech stuff, was going to employ a
minimalist technology philosophy where I keep around 2-3 pieces of the
techie stuff I have; so instead of having 5 spare PCs around, just gonna
keep 2 extra ones. Instead of having 5 cameras, now I'll only keep 2, etc
etc.
Well that was the plan until RAMpocalypse happened and now, I'm hearing I
should keep my gear, just in case. Quality parts will be less availabile
so no real reason for me to join the spot market. At least with the stuff
that's currently in my inventory, I know they work. I can even try to
repurpose some of the stuff.
Anyways, there goes my initiative to control my technolust lol. Even as I
write this, I'm thinking of copping those LORA enabled gizmos so I can start
a Meshcore node in my area LOL.
